Though the technical properties of CLT are highly consistent, the visual aspect can vary significantly. Where a project requires a high standard visual quality, lamellas are selected with the best aesthetic properties and unwanted defects are eliminated.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Xilonor offers three visual qualities:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Non-Visual:<\/strong> Suitable where the timber is destined to be concealed behind other materials or where natural anomalies are tolerated.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Industrial:<\/strong> Suitable where the structure will remain visible but with limited aesthetic impact or where appearance is of lower priority as may be the case in commercial or industrial settings.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Visual:<\/strong> Suitable where the timber will remain visible and forms part of the aesthetics of the structure thus requiring a high-quality finish, as may be the case in residential dwellings, schools, or offices.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
